It’s that time again, another 1000 upload milestone, this time 30,000 but what does that even look like? Well in my best maths teacher voice I am going to say…. erm… erm…. ok it looks like this (points in my best art teacher voice)
This visualization shows the relationship between its 3 prime factors (large circles) and 50 divisors (small circles), it also looks pretty.
Back in to maths mode as I’m sure our intelligent and academically gifted ‘Callers’ know 30,000 is an even composite number composed of three prime numbers multiplied together or more to the point the prime factorization of 30000 is 2(x4) × 3 × 5(x4) or more simply (2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 5)
If you wanted to measure 30,000 as time it's 8 hours and 20 minutes and would take the average person about 8 hours to count to.
I know you're shocked that I’m not only Chief Admin but also a mathematical (and art) genius and maybe even a Time Lord, who knew? Actually, in the true spirit of this website…. I’m calling BULL on that I’m simply adept at Googling and found this when looking for interesting facts and what is significant about 30,000 over at Numbermatics https://bit.ly/37lANJA but don’t tell everyone.
Back on track and looking at the 30,000th article it is a cracker https://bit.ly/2VxzepB
It demonstrates what’s covered in three other blogs on this site, ‘Slow News Day’ http://bit.ly/2NFb5GL ‘Throwback Pictures’ http://bit.ly/2Ma1U0O and more than likely a fair bit of Photoshop as well https://bit.ly/2Ry5l2U In short an ex Love Island contestant is flogging bikinis and the press coverage of it is wildly different from differing news outlets from some literally saying she’s advertising these and naming the brand to others pretending it is an old holiday photo they swiped off her Instagram page. Strangely enough (at this point) people are calling BULL on it as #FakeNews which sounds about right
As yoiu can see above the rest of the front page was filled with other TRUE articles about Ryan Reynold using a Taylor Swift name drop to get attention for his new film, Lionel Messi finally leaving (or being let go) from Barcelona and Apple bringing in systems to find sex abuse content uploaded to their servers
There were also BULL articles about the final season of The Walking Dead, Covid being an excuse to get rid of cheap holidays, a politician losing a gifted $6000 bottle of whisky and a KitKat / mint Aero cross over bar
Obviously behind the front page there are the other 992 articles our ‘Callers’ have taken their time to find and share with everyone that have been commented and voted on in the last 47 days, if you haven’t seen them they are well worth an investigation.
Thanks to everyone who has uploaded, commented and voted on the site, genuinely YOU make it what it is so don’t go blaming me if you don’t like it upload YOUR True and Bull articles ot make it your own!
