5 years, 5 YEARS that is a pretty long time to develop something and grow your knowledge base, understanding and capability. I mean in the UK secondary school only lasts 5 years and yet here we are at www.LetsCallBull.com 5 years old to the day since we came out of Beta testing and went gold.
So, the big question is did we qualify, are the exam results in? Well, the site has coming up to 34,000 unique articles, contains hundreds of thousands of comments, millions of votes and has had tens of millions of views. It also continues to be a platform striving to be ‘Getting to the Truth’ and calling out the positive TRUE articles whilst highlighting the negative BULL ones.
There also (counting this one) 84 blogs that have been posted covering a myriad of topics all related to ‘outing’ BULL and the patterns that it takes with Social Media and the Main Stream Press.
Let’s not forget we also launched a Free School Outreach Program to help spread the knowledge of what we have learnt further afield and help others.
On top of that there are the Social Media feeds for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram that all have a life of their own as well.
We’ve kept the site independent and not biased by any political or economical constraints and given people a platform to have their say where literally every vote counts (is there anything more satisfying than casting a vote to see the outcome go from true to bull or vice versa agreeing with your call?!)
So the results, did we qualify? Hey maybe we’re a bit biased but let’s call it an A+ for effort at least!
It’s not been plain sailing, this site is 100% self-funded with both time and money being constantly poured into it, and like the rest of the world we have had to endure Covid 19 as well as at the back end of last year getting hacked just to add to the fun!
The site also runs 365 days a year with the promised Admin always here making sure the site is in tip top shape and is safe for everyone to use.
It’s a labour of love and something that here at LCB we are very proud of so once again (maybe a little self-indulgent) Happy 5th Birthday to us and thank you to all our ‘Callers’ who have contributed so much, the site www.LetsCallBull.com is literally what you have made it over the last 5 years.
