What we all want to look like but even the Celebs don’t in reality
‘Before and After’ is a hugely popular tactic used by Celebs (mainly reality TV ones) to either try and re-invent themselves to get more followers or to flog some weight loss products to unsuspecting ‘fans’. Looking at the images below of Love Island contestant Tyne-Lexy Clarson it shows an impressive change of body shape in just 6 weeks… or does it?
Did she lose all the weight she had put on, or did she did lose a little and use the following ‘cheats’ for the photos...?
1) Stands up straight
2) Lifts her head up to lose chin
3) Puts arms back to raise bust
4) Breathes in
5) Gets a spray tan
6) Has a little #Photoshop support
And it turns out that further down the article https://goo.gl/iAU9JD that she was indeed sponsored by a weight loss supplement and goes on to try and flog it.
And it appears that the more extreme the weight loss is the more that people seem to lap it up and buy in to it, or buy the exercise DVD in the case of Scarlett Moffatt ex GoggleBox star and part time TV presenter.
However, in the case of Scarlett there ended up being a massive backlash from the public https://goo.gl/ft62mo once she started appearing on TV and didn’t look like the advertised picture on the box.
When people investigated it further it was proven that she had used not just the points raised above but also that any weight loss she had achieved wasn’t by the help of what she was flogging it was by an extreme diet / regime that would be unsustainable for anyone with a real life and job to try and attain.
So next time a celeb is waxing on about their miracle weight loss, or beauty regime, look out for the above points and what it is they are trying to sell. And if you really want to get in shape just eat less and exercise more to save yourself buying a product that doesn’t even work for the celebs.
