A father and son race team have been killed in a horrific 100mph-plus crash at the Isle of Man TT, bringing this year's tragic death toll to five.

Roger and Bradley Stockton, from Crewe in Cheshire, died yesterday after their sidecar crashed at the infamous Ago's Leap section of the course.

Father Roger, 46, was competing in his 20th Tourist Trophy (TT) race, while 21-year-old Bradley was taking part for the first time.

I Call True: Surely something has to be done about the safety of this race with that many deaths already?

An absolutely devastating loss for the racing community. The Isle of Man TT always suffers such losses, i think its hitting home harder than usual this year as its the first time since Covid in 2019 that the time trials have been allowed back on this fantastic island coupled with the fact that this was father and son so an absolute double hammer blow.
I would point out to Bison (and i'm singling him out as his comments seem to imply some sort of intervention is needed) that all racers know and accept the extreme risks of racing in the TT , i also know that would be scant consolation for their grieving families. But speak to the families and they understand why the racers do what they do.
RIP to ALL the brave heroes that have lost their lives at this, and previous, TT events.
