Italian luxury brand Gucci will start accepting payments in cryptocurrencies in some of its stores in America.

Customers will be able to pay using a number of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

The service will be rolled out later this month at some of its flagship outlets, including Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles and New York's Wooster Street.

Gucci, owned by France's Kering, joins a growing number of companies that have started to accept virtual currencies.

The firm said it will also take payments in Shiba Inu and Dogecoin - a so-called "meme" cryptocurrency that was originally created as a joke.

I Call True: Wow, Gucci are now accepting Crypto as payment. i guess this is the way forward to help sales as these types of goods can be easily resold so laundering crypto for real world high value goods makes perfect sense in the criminal world.
Obvs thats "not" what Gucci are thinking *cough* but i dont doubt this will send sales through the roof. i'll be following Guccis profit margins with interest from now on thats for sure!

I think we are going to see more and more adaptation of Crypto in the coming months/years especially if FIAT is going to enter another recession.

Gucci knowing that their Russian billionaires are going to want to use this form of payment and making sure they get their share of the coin
