Supernatural and The Boys star Jensen Ackles reveals that he is working on a mystery Batman project.
Ackles, who has always been open about his extreme Batman fandom, was eventually tapped to voice the Dark Knight himself. In 2021, Warner Bros. Animation created a two-part animated adaptation of the DC Comics storyline, Batman: The Long Halloween. Set in the studio's new DC animated universe, which includes Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Ackles starred as Bruce Wayne in the latest Batman adaptation.
However, it appears that Ackles will be back as Batman again in the near future. During a recent appearance on the Late Night With Seth Meyers show, the host brought up Ackles' history with the DC Universe. During his guest spot, Ackles confirmed that he recently worked at the studio, "doing Batman."
