Pep Guardiola watched Manchester City strengthen their grip on the Premier League title before launching a sensational attack on Liverpool - claiming that 'everyone supports the Reds' as the two sides continue to fight it out for the title.

City and Jurgen Klopp's side are locked in a two-way tussle at the top of the league as City bid to retain the domestic crown that they won in style last term. But they've been hunted down relentlessly by the Reds, who have been in remarkable form since the turn of the year to eat up a 14-point deficit.

But after fighting their way back into contention, Liverpool dropped precious points after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham on Saturday night - and City took full advantage by thrashing Newcastle 5-0 at the Etihad. Raheem Sterling netted twice to open and close the rout against the Magpies with Aymeric Laporte, Rodri and Phil Foden all striking in between. The result means City have opened up a three-point lead over the Reds at the summit of the league with just three games remaining.

I Call Bull: Not really bitter swipes but then the Press will do anything to try and build animosity between the two managers so they can report on it!
