The Boys’ third season will tease the upcoming spinoff show, inspired by the comic book series’ G-Men, with subtle references. Based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comics of the same name, Amazon’s The Boys follows the titular group and their attempts to take down Vought International.

The conglomerate is responsible for founding The Seven and developing Compound-V — the substance responsible for the creation of “Supes.”

The Boys’ satirical approach to corporate/political corruption via the superhero genre in season 2 earned the series five Emmy nominations. Season 3 is set to feature newcomer Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and adapt the comics’ raunchy “Herogasm” storyline—which sees Homelander (Anthony Starr) and the other Supes travel to an island resort and engage in a very hedonistic weekend while the rest of the world thinks they are fighting an alien invasion.

Naturally, Butcher (Karl Urban) and the rest of the boys show up to crash the party.

The Boys’ popularity has led to Amazon fast-tracking a spinoff series loosely based on Ennis Robertson’s comic book series, a parody of the X-Men known as the G-Men.

The spinoff will embrace The Boys’ unflinching concept of superheroes in the real world. The G-Men comic book storyline follows a twisted version of Charles Xavier/Professor X, John Godolkin, who kidnaps children and takes them to his training facility/school in upstate New York.

The spinoff will center on a Supe college run by Vought and be filled with the next generation of "heroes" competing for contracts. The comics saw Vought-American ultimately market the G-Men as outcast heroes due to Godolkin's perverted practices (among other things).

The Boys' college spinoff recently added Shane Paul McGhie, Aimee Carrero, and Maddie Phillips to its cast.

I Call True: Seriously interested in this show as the source material is off the chart and IF they stay anywhere near the printed storyline this will be a huge hit

Let's hope that it doesn't become overly diluted as the first two series have been really enjoyable.

A surefire hit. If it stays close to the source material.

Keeping my eyes peeled for a December / January release of The Boys season 3 and looking forward to the Easter Eggs in the show that will tease this spin off
